My purpose in preparing this introduction blog is to showcase my talents and skills acquired during my marine tourism career. I am an avid outdoorsman as well as a lover of all things pertaining to the sea. All the photography on this blog are my own unless otherwise indicated. My career has taken me to Guam and the Mariana Islands, most of Micronesia, Bali and Sulawesi, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Japan in the western Pacific. I am an avid SCUBA diver and have a PADI Instructor certificate. I lived and worked in Sitka, Alaska for 12 years as a whale-watching vessel captain. During that time my travels took me all over the Inside Passage as well as to the Aleutians and the Bering and Chukchi Seas. I love adventure and am well suited for challenging climates. I am is excellent health and do not drink alcohol or use tabaco products. I have excellent customer service skills and love to share my knowledge and experiences with others. I am hardy and work well with crew as well as guests and passengers.
